My name is Sam. I'm an alumni of MenHealing's Weekends of Recovery. MenHealing is hosting a free online benefit concert called Ripple Effect in just under two weeks– at 4pm PT / 7pm ET on October 26, the day after Male Survivor Awareness Day– featuring the Indigo
We are in a moment that calls on all of us–out of human decency–not to look away from the sexual violence and isolation perpetrated on men and boys, women and girls, adults and children.
Art is another way for me to feel emotion, expression, sharing, seeing—and being seen.
Whether in the studio or the greenhouse, I am me, fully and unapologetically me.
We are also open for submissions from anyone at all. If your topic is related to men healing from sexual victimization, we'd love to hear from you. This includes male survivors, clinicians, journalists, writers, poets, and even visual artists.
